This library works with regular 16x1 displays and with chinese 16x1 displays where the second 8 characters are on new line. R/W pin should be tied to GND.

The main.cpp is a sample project that tests the lib. It's for esp32 and platformio (arduino platform). I imagine it'll probably work on other arduino architectures.
